It’s not as easy to find good, living blogs/sites off major platforms but if you can a lot of them do this. Book Notification has a weekly list that you can opt into, for example. The Indie RPG Newsletter has tons of TTRPG recommendations.

I think we’re back to the point where things need to spread by word of mouth though, because discoverability is so difficult for little indie blogs.

Got curious and tried to find any papers on it. The ones I could scrounge up seem to be very (SHRUG) about it so hey, it can’t hurt probably!

When I was younger and played more games, I would frequently look up how to get through them on GameFAQ. The joy wasn’t in figuring out puzzles, it was in getting to see the story unfolding.

These people think they’re in the end times because the world is in a garbage fire state, that they probably helped cause, and now they want out instead of doing literally anything else, including just not making it worse.
