Kinda seems like internet 101 that they should either explicitly state they don’t support emails created on VPNs or that they won’t blanket ban a VPN IP address.

Of course, they are all the governments hired thugs after all.

I know he doesn’t have electricity for a few hours every day. Like a scheduled shut off.
That’s most of South Africa afaik. Has been like that since before I went there for work in 2006/7. When I was there they had scheduled rolling blackouts across all of Capetown each day.

Yep, I was pleased to find Piper once I switched to Linux instead of using the ancient Logitech Gaming Software on Windows (fuck g-hub).

Seems to me that people in the US should be starting a campaign to convince people not to submit federal taxes this year. What are the 100k or so IRS agents going to do when 170m people don’t pay?

Even better do journalctl -r -b -1 to get the latest logs first
Or you can just do journalctl -r --since "5min ago" if it just happened

Hardly surprising considering the BBC is a british establishment mouthpiece and said establishment is subordinate to the americans.

Yep… No denuvo, non-scummy DLC practices, stop releasing the same game multiple times for full prices.
On second thought, they’d have to change completely as a business for me to buy any of their games.

Sounds like it comes with a free trial of Norton.
These Linux Docker images may be of use to you for setup.
Most (all?) of the bad Canonical stuff is removed in Linux Mint. It’s the reason for its existence.
You do get the good stuff though like Ubuntu’s better hardware support and PPAs etc that Debian doesn’t have.

I’m on desktop using Firefox. I tried both the article URL and the top level domain and it wouldn’t take either. Could have just been a temporary issue I guess.

Interesting. I tried to post this same article last night and I kept getting “invalid URL”. Is there a trick to posting @[email protected]?
Waterfox is a better choice in that regard.

Seems like PEBCAK to me. What an embarrassing article for someone who is supposed to know about PCs for a living.
I think the author only knows about very popular games and Windows as opposed to PCs in general.

The killswitch isn’t safe for bittorrent on your own PC as they have a tendency to expose your IP briefly when the connection drops before it kicks in. Binding your torrent client to your VPN network is 100% reliable though so no need for a seedbox.

Yep, “AI” is a very fancy database query masquerading as science fiction.

I use Duolingo every day, seems pretty effective to me.
I’m not sure how it’s a privacy nightmare. I gave them my email address for spam and a false name.
To avoid the ads, I use it via browser (firefox with ublock origin) on my phone instead of on the app.

Yeah, it’s a fantastic game. I think i’m probably at about 700 hours :D
The expansion is called Fangs of Asterkarn and is gonna have a bunch of cool stuff! I think they said it’ll be out Q1 or early Q2 next year.
Virtue signalling. If it’s in their interest the Catholic church would fall in line in the blink of an eye.
