Bingo bango bongo, I don’t want to leave the Congo
I don’t think anyone thinks owning a home is easy, more that housing as an investment has priced people out of the option entirely.

8·11 days agoFor real, dealing with the US has been no easy feat under Mango Mussolini but IMO he’s done nothing that warrants the peace prize.
“I was willing to excuse him when he was hauling my neighbours; both citizen’ and not away in unmarked vans to be put in concentration camps and subsequently deported without due process but I draw the line at paying more for gas and groceries.”

PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•Memory Companies Don't Need Consumers - Gamers NexusEnglish
15·19 days agoTo be fair; while the business market will always be lucrative than the direct to consumer one, the current demand is speculative (which is to say the memory that was purchased for data centers that are already 2-4 years behind schedule or have yet to even break ground).
On top of that the capital to fund it is cyclical and recycled which presents an enormous concentration risk, it is by no means indicative of a healthy market. If we had regulators that weren’t lackeys for venture capital then the need for intervention is obvious.
That being said, we agree, just lamenting the loss of regulatory power that could have prevented this.

Shape of Dreams is a isometric top down roguelike with optional co-op that is reminiscent in league of legend’s character design but is fully PVE with encounters where you clear rooms and boss challenges.
