Can users not already “opt out” by just not using the feeds that use algorithms?

Because the other 8+ billion of us have known this for years, and have been screaming about how this is a really terrible thing.
I’d wager it’s significantly less than even one billion people who know and do anything like that.

Evolution is measured only by success, it doesn’t care about intelligence or morals.

Then again, this entire posts makes it quite clear you don’t seem to have any ability to read the room.
Assuming they even read their own post.

I have tried it, and I had more issues with my previous laptop on Mint than I have currently on Windows. Still I’ll look at it again once I need a new one.
Edit: So I guess in my case the users didn’t deter me, since I wasn’t really interacting with the community at any point. I think it’s probably more of a threadiverse user thing than a Linux user thing. And yeah I can be obnoxious myself, I just don’t expect it to yield results.

Since joining the fediverse, I’m convinced the biggest deterrence for more people joining Linux are its users.

Lawmakers can provide the law, but “strictly necessary” and “proportionate” are things in the purview of courts and judges.

Check every dictionary for america or american. Or just type “america” on whatever search engine. First thing is always the US or its citizens.
Exactly! It’s always the first! Let’s check the renowned and proud American dictionary Merriam Webster:

Oh. Huh.

I guess I need to accept that some minds are just skipping records.
Good talk. Goodbye.

His charisma is the ability to get other people to agree with him. The “agreeing” part is the choice of those other people, not his. If Trump has charisma, it’s because people let him. It’s their personalities who define the effect, not his.
I can understand Trump. He’s simply a textbook narcissist. I cannot understand anyone who doesn’t understand that, and how that is at least 30% of Americans, and probably not that much less worldwide.

My lack of understanding isn’t that he can do it, it’s why he can. More specifically, how a human can listen to him even just once and still want to agree with what he says.

Yeah, I don’t understand that one either.

Haven’t read the article yet, but I guarantee the “hacking messaging apps” is just phishing again.

I never understand when people, including ones opposed to him, say Trump has charisma. Is a raging toddler charismatic? Do I just have a different definition of charisma than everyone else?

Yeah, but the one on that list is what’s been taken down…

twitee.co still works as of now.

“mandala” effect
You sure you remember that name correctly?

Grokipedoa is probably just grok itself.
You can pry my tea from my cold, dead, and tumorous food pipe!
