I have a random fun fact about beelzebub…

There’s some dispute, but Baal zebub seems to have been a derogatory term used by ancient israelites against the philistine deity, Ba’al (lord), calling him baal zebub, or the lord of flies.

Occult circles have demonized the figure over time, but yea. Ancient racists who thought of the philistines as pests, and blatantly insulted their religion by renaming their lord to ‘lord of the flies’.

And just to come full circle:

Baalbek, named after Baal, is an ancient city in the Beqaa plane in Lebanon. It was known as the bread basket of the Roman empire. The Romans build the largest temples outside of Rome there and allowed worship of Baal to continue in the large entrance building in front of the Jupiter temple. The temples stood in good condition for centuries and are now under threat by IDF bombing, which has already come as close as 500 meters, while every building in the city has been declared a target and it’s people ordered to evacuate.

Such convenient timing when everyone is focused on the American elections.

Netanyahu never wastes a good distraction to push his agenda.

Israel’s foreign minister, Israel Katz, has reportedly been nominated by Netanyahu as Gallant’s replacement.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israel_Katz

On peace and security matters, Katz is considered to be a hardliner in the Israeli government. He takes an annexationist view of the West Bank: he supports continued settlement construction, extending full Israeli sovereignty to the West Bank, and severing all relations with the Palestinian Authority. He opposes the two-state solution and the creation of a Palestinian state in any form, which he regards as unacceptable considering “our rights to this land”.

In March 2016, Katz argued that Israel should employ “targeted civil eliminations” against leaders of Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS). The expression puns on the Hebrew word for targeted assassinations.
